At this Moreland Hills home, backyard landscaping was designed to take advantage of the amazing ravine views. The reclaimed living space consists of both a deck and a patio. The patio is constructed from raised bluestone with a full range of color, adjacent to the deck. The distinct, two-tier TimberTech deck is elevated to both gain usable space and take advantage of the spectacular view. Both sections of the deck feature railings that do not impede the view; one with curved iron railings and one with completely-transparent glass panels. Sandstone steps link the seating areas, as well as provide access into the house. Natural stones and boulders surround a fire pit, adding an extra touch of calm ambience.
