This full yard renovation in Russell began with the addition of raised garden beds and a fruit orchard in the front yard. Incorporating the natural slope of the land, a perfectly manicured par three golf hole was conceived, complete with a putting green and bunkers. In the back of the house, an existing brick patio was removed in order to build a new bluestone patio, partially covered by a white open air pergola attached to the home. The homeowners chose a pergola for the outdoor dining area instead of a pavilion so more natural light would reach inside. A myriad of enchanting features encompass the patio, ranging from a seat wall to a pond with waterfall. A natural stone bar joins the patio with a new Ipe (sustainable Brazilian hardwood) deck, housing a hot tub. The deck remains aesthetically pleasing with the use of undermounted hardware, keeping the visible surface clean.
